How billing works

  • The club pays. RinkNotes is billed per team, to the club or coach — never to families.
  • Parents never pay. A parent’s only role is to consent and receive — there’s no parent paywall, ever.
  • Start with a free trial. New teams begin with a 7-day trial, no credit card required (activate your trial).
  • Agreement first. Before a team goes active, an admin accepts a short data processing agreement.
  • Prices show in your currency. Amounts display in Canadian dollars by default, or US dollars based on your location.

Plans

Pricing is per team, per season unless noted. Every active team gets the full product — plans differ in packaging and volume, not features.

Starter — CA$249 / US$199

One team getting started, with capped usage (about 5 hours of transcription and 3 AI player reports per season). Joining the waitlist — upgrade to Team anytime.

Team — CA$2,899 / US$1,999

Most popular. One flat price for a single team: unlimited capture and AI reports, unlimited coaches and volunteers, all three capture modes, game stats, and season data export. Self-serve — start your trial and subscribe online.

Program — CA$2,199 / US$1,500 per team

Paying for a team

The Team plan is self-serve: the head coach activates the trial, then subscribes online from Settings → Billing (secure checkout via Stripe). From the same place a head coach can manage or cancel the subscription later. For Program, event, Club, or Pilot plans, get in touch and we’ll set you up.

Talk to us about a plan

Tell us about your club — number of teams and roughly how many players — and we’ll recommend the right plan.
Only a head coach manages billing for a team. Other staff see the team’s status but can’t change the plan.
