A club (organization) is the top level in RinkNotes. Under a club you can have many teams — one per division or age group.
  • The first coach from a club to sign up creates the club as part of creating their team.
  • Other coaches then create their own team under the same club rather than starting a new club.
  • Each team has its own roster, consent, and outputs — nothing crosses between teams.

A club holds many teams. Team Admin sits at the club level; rosters, consent, and outputs stay walled off inside each team.

Adding more teams

There are two ways a club ends up with several teams:
  • Each coach creates their own. Every coach who joins creates their team under the same club during setup. This is the usual path — no central admin needed.
  • A Team Admin creates them. A head coach with Team Admin rights can spin up additional teams from Settings → Create another team, then hand each one to the right coach.

Team Admin

Creating and handing off teams is a Team Admin job — a club-level capability held by a head coach. Who holds it, how it’s granted, and its one-level-deep limit are covered in full under Roles & permissions. For who can do what across a team, see Roles & permissions.
