You can run RinkNotes solo, but most teams add a few people. This step is optional — skip it and add people later from Roster & Consent → Settings.

Send an invite

Enter a person’s email and pick their role. They get an email with a link; once they click it and sign in, they join your team.

Roles

  • Assistant coaches capture notes and do the first review pass.
  • Staff get whatever capture/review access you set when you invite them.
  • Parent volunteers can capture notes to help out, but can’t see player outputs — so a volunteer never reads another family’s feedback.
If you’ll be capturing on the bench and a parent volunteer will help, invite them as a parent volunteer. They can talk into the app during the game without ever seeing what gets written about other kids.
Inviting staff is optional and doesn’t block the rest of setup. You can always come back to it.
