The Schedule tab in the web workspace is the team’s calendar: every upcoming game, practice, and event on one list, grouped by day, soonest first — with each person’s RSVP so you can see who’s actually coming.

What lands here

  • Games and practices you schedule ahead show up automatically — the same ones you can start from the capturer’s “upcoming” list on game day.
  • Team events — anything that isn’t a game or practice: a tournament, team dinner, meeting, tryout, or social. You add these yourself.

Add an event

Tap + New event. Two ways to fill it in, one confirmation:
1

Say it or type it

Tap 🎤 Say the event and speak — “team dinner Friday at 6 at Boston Pizza” — and RinkNotes fills in the title, type, date, time, and location for you. Or just type the fields. Voice needs a connection; typing works offline.
2

Check it, then create

Speaking never creates anything on its own — you always see the parsed details and tap Create event. An event needs at least a date. Everything else (type, time, location, notes) is optional.
Events are team logistics only — no player is ever attached to one, and nothing about a child’s development lives here.

Who’s coming

Each item shows the RSVPs: staff answer for themselves, parents answer for their child (Going, Maybe, or Can’t). The totals are your headcount for a tournament roster, a carpool, or whether you’ve got enough skaters for a scrimmage.
If you’re a head coach or team manager, you’ll also see an approval queue — schedule items waiting on a yes before they go live, such as an event a parent suggested. Approve or decline, and approved items drop into the calendar.
Reminders and notifications are still rolling out. The schedule and RSVPs work today, but automatic email / text / WhatsApp / push reminders may not be switched on for your team yet — so don’t assume a parent got a text. When in doubt, treat the in-app schedule as the source of truth and give people a heads-up the way you already do.
